THE LC'S INFLUENCES TOUR SUMMER 2012

Like most musicians, there's two questions that always come our way: 1.) 'How'd you come to call your sound Heavy Americana and 2.) Who influenced the 'LC sound'?

So...rather than respond in words, we thought it'd be cool to just go ahead and show ya'll through the many, diverse and influential bands and artists that we drew from to shape us not only as individual musicians, but as a group as well.

This Summer, we're gonna stage a series of shows that we're calling THE SUMMER COVER CONCERT SERIES. An entire 3 to 4 hour evening showcasing songs from bands like The Beatles, The Clash, REM and Sly and The Family Stone. Artists as wide ranging as Gary Numan, Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, Elton John and Billy Joel.

In the next few weeks, we'll be listing these shows on our Show & Tour page ... just look for the SUMMER COVER CONCERT label....and we'll be doing these gigs without ticket fees or cover charges! We're excited to present this mixture of cover songs and original LC tracks, and we hope to see all ya'll there!

SOHO - Two Years In A Row!!

We're pleased, proud and bursting to announce that for the 2nd year in a row, we've been invited to play at SOHO Music Festival in our hometown of Springfield, IL. We're honored to have been invited again and we can't wait!! We're scheduled to be onstage at 6:00pm Saturday, June 2nd.
